First day at work;

Basically my 1st day at work is to sit beside a colleague and see what she is doing... Super boring... I almost doze off lor.... Haha...

Sometimes I really wonder am I really suitable for office job? I like really not used to office job bah... I got this job, guess the most happiest person is my mother bah.... Her mindset is that since I got a diploma cert now, I should look for high-pay, office job. And when she heard abt my pay n being in Citigroup, she damn happy lor.... Getting her calculator ready to see how much I will get every mth after deducting CPF, and how much I SHOULD give her every mth.... Somehow, thinking that I am working this job to please her. But, at the same time, working in citigroup might be a first step to my own good future? I dunno... Have to work many yrs or being very talented n smart for me to move 1 level up in citigroup. Promotion is based on work performance, not by ur experience. Thats wat i know....

No matter what it is, I guess I better work hard for the time being as it is not a gd idea to job-hop now... Expecially is my 1st job after graduation. Job hop will badly affect my port folio.... And I gotta work for 6 full mths without being able to take annual leave.... There goes my holiday dream............

And I better be more open up and speak to others bah.... If not, I'm gonna die there being mute. I hate to be in a new environment with knowing no one in particular. I was nervous sick this morning when I know I gotta report to work SOON. I dun even dare to step into the building lor.... That's me.... So timid.... SIgh...

Maybe when I see my pay coming, den I will be happy bah.... And hope nothing goes wrong during this 1st 6 mths........ As what they said..... No news is good news..... So I dun wish to hear anything from the HR dept for this 6 mths... Haha......

I shall be very bored on wkends le....... Urgh.......
